The distinguished music programs of Manhattan Beach Middle School and Mira Costa high School seek a highly qualified instrumental music educator to fill a full-time music position for Instrumental Music (Band) Teacher- Middle School (60% FTE at Manhattan Beach Middle School) and High School (40% FTE at Mira Costa High School). The exceptional schools in the Manhattan Beach USD are high performing with a vibrant community and administrative support. The assignment includes teaching three bands at Manhattan Beach Middle School, along with two classes at Mira Costa High School, one of which is Marching Band.

Requirements / Qualifications

Bachelor’s Degree; possession of a valid California Single Subject Teaching credential authorizing Music; CLAD/English Learner certification or equivalent is required.
